Dinner Time!!!

After a long day, it felt good to get to the hotel and eat!


As an appetizer we had harira soup, which is basically a soup with tomatoes, spices, small bits of meat and chick peas.


The entrée was chicken tagine, similar to a mix of stew and curry chicken. 


Last was dessert - orange slices sprinkled with cinnamon.


All different but delicious!! :)

    1. I must admit, the soup doesn't look very appetizing in the picture, or in real life - but it was delicious. Looks were very deceiving in this case!

  4. That looks delish. I bet the curry was a little spicier than you are used to! The spices that are used in Morocco are a little different than the ones we use here in the US. I love Curry! Fruit seems to be a big part of all the meals that are served.

    1. They do serve a lot of fruit, especially dates and figs.

      The curry surprisingly is not that spicy but are different from the onea I'm used to at home.

  5. What type of festivals do they have anddo they eat diffetent foods than what you ate or the same?

      Since they are Muslim, Moroccans celebrate all Muslim holidays like Ramadan, & Eid. They also celebrate independence day and the king's birthday.
