As We're Driven Around Rabat

These are a few pictures of what I've seen while we're driving around Rabat.

Hmm, what is this we're approaching?

It is a fort!

Notice the cannons in the small openings.

It was to protect the city from any enemies coming from the river.

Another view of the cannons.
I guess the Moroccans weren't taking any chances of being caught from another angle.

Closer to the river.

Local boats.

Passing a shopping center.

I see something very familiar. I wonder if it tastes the same?

Crossing the river.

This rainy season has been extremely dry, so the water levels are much lower than normal.

Venturing a little away from the main city.

Cows out to pasture in the distance.

Another lovely doorway. This one leads to a crafts shop.

  1. OMG! These pics are great! I know you are enjoying this experience! What do the schools look like?

  2. There are a lot of beautiful landscapes in Morocco!

  3. Wow that place looks amazing and do they have other fast foods restaurants like McDonalds or Burger King?

  4. What is that thing all the way in the corner in the top right side of the first picture?

    1. It is the reflection in the window from the bus we were riding in. :/
