As We're Driven Around Rabat

These are a few pictures of what I've seen while we're driving around Rabat.
Enjoy!!

Hmm, what is this we're approaching?

It is a fort!

Notice the cannons in the small openings.

It was to protect the city from any enemies coming from the river.

Another view of the cannons.
I guess the Moroccans weren't taking any chances of being caught from another angle.

Closer to the river.

Local boats.

Passing a shopping center.

I see something very familiar. I wonder if it tastes the same?

Crossing the river.

This rainy season has been extremely dry, so the water levels are much lower than normal.

Venturing a little away from the main city.

Cows out to pasture in the distance.

Another lovely doorway. This one leads to a crafts shop.

A traditional fountain.
